A little about me:

I'm a wife and mother to two kids and a beloved pup, who mean the world to me. While I've been part of the band scene for 26 years, my health no longer allows me to play. Nevertheless, I continue to contribute to AMMFB. Recently, I've embarked on a journey to become a qualified counsellor after a fulfilling career in the Civil Service. My goal is to empower as many people as possible to help themselves.

Throughout my life, I've encountered mental health challenges, including Post Natal Depression, severe anxiety, social anxiety, and depression. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these struggles. Despite receiving professional support from psychologists and psychiatrists, I've discovered that some of my difficulties stem from Adverse Childhood Trauma, an experience shared by many others.
